Dedicated to our people, principles, and planet, EcoTrend Ecologics Ltd. provides premium products, exceptional service, and a truly ethical approach to business.

Founded in 1988 by import/export specialist John Harrison of Vancouver, B.C., EcoTrend Ecologics Ltd. has grown steadily from a one-person operation to its current complement of 38 dedicated professionals. Today, we are a respected international distributor representing high quality products and servicing both retail health stores and alternative healthcare practitioners.

EcoTrend believes in the human touch. Family and friends play an important role in the almost familial relationships we are proud to maintain with our suppliers. Treating both people and our planet with dignity, Ecotrend has nurtured a foundation of loyalty and trust. Today we manage over 1,800 retail and professional accounts, 82 suppliers, and annual sales projections of nearly $10M -- sustained growth almost unheard of for a company of such modest size.

EcoTrend is a direct reflection of its founder. Descendant from a lineage of conservationists, John Harrison demonstrates an unwavering love of nature and an appreciation of humanity and gentleness rare in business. John's family safeguards a number of coastal properties, some purchased over 70 years ago, constructing log cabins and maintaining wildlife sanctuaries. A deep concern for the biosphere is evident in John's personal association with the David Suzuki Foundation, the World Wildlife Fund, the Sierra Legal Defense Fund, and the BC Parks Board. EcoTrend is an important part of this commitment.

Personnel

EcoTrend StaffLocated in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Maritimes, our sales account managers possess extensive experience in the natural health products and healthcare industries. The EcoTrend team includes a registered holistic nutritionist; clinical herbalist; certified nutritionist practitioner; Ayurvedic medicine practitioner and master herbalist; allergist and immunologist; medical doctor; and a health sciences specialist.

Training

EcoTrend supports teleconference training prior to product launches with supplier and reps; ongoing training sessions are conducted monthly with various suppliers.
